Bio

My name is Charles McMahan. I’m a recent graduate of Columbia College Chicago, graduated with a Bachalors of Art in Interactive Arts and Media. During my time at Columbia I had time to work with quite a few interesting people in the group known as Alpha Lab, a student run game design club. I also took time to work on various side projects of my own to help expand my skills. My main focus when it comes to game design is Character Modeling, Rigging and various bits of Prop and Environment Modeling.

My Hobbies that are not academic include drawing both traditional and digital art, reading comics and artbooks, watching mindless action and scifi movies and shows, and hanging out with my close friends. I’m currently working on expanding my knowledge of game design by using sites like Digital Tutors, Udemy and Gnomen. I am getting a better grasp of Zbrush, Photoshop, Maya. Mudbox, Illustrator and Indesign. I hope to learn far more about PBR, physical based rendering, using the program called Substance Painter.
